HIATUS.

24th-Jul-2008 11:02 pm - I am so over it.
into the distance

I give up.

Adopting a lifestyle which offers me pseudo happiness and excitement on the surface is not going to make me any better than I am.
Adopting a lifestyle which I don't approve of and only condone for the sake of conforming is not going to make me happy.

Therefore,
I am so over it.

"Getting to know yourself better" Quiz

Your view on yourself:
Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education:
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
10th-Jul-2008 11:07 am - sick of clubs
bug-eye

After near 7 months of hiatus from my last clubbing session, I decided to head to Zouk with some of my Hehs yesterday night. I was craving music and dance badly, I must admit. But 5 minutes into Zouk, I was regretting already. Probably I wasn't really regretting. But the "what am I doing here" question definitely did appear in my mind more than once throughout the night.

Maybe I have grown out of clubbing. It probably is fun when you are with a bunch of friends who are trying to have a good time. I definitely am not the kind of people who...socialise. That said, I don't even think clubs are a good social platform to know people. Know people, I don't mean meeting new people.

I hate the crowd.
I hate having stranger guys trying to touch you at the slightest chance. People who tries to chat you up are okay I guess, as long as they keep their hands to themselves. I like to answer questions.
I hate stumbling drunk girls (or guys, but especially girls) who don't know how to take care of themselves, and have to lean on people you hardly know for support. [Do you have any idea how ugly you look?]
But the occasional "Hi, I think you're cute" (especially from a cute guy) is kind of flattering.

I'm not swearing off clubs now, because I still crave for big fun time with my friends. I will just be going once in a blue moon.

The next time I crave for music and dance?
I think, I'll sign up for some dance lessons with the community centres.

Updates with pictures later. I hadn't been asking around for pictures since...long.

P/S: I think I saw you last night, Keshia.

Kate Beckinsale: Will you still love me in the morning?
Adam Sandler: Forever and ever, babe.
